Actor Daniel Baldwin has become a father after his wife, Joanne Smith-Baldwin gave birth to a baby girl on Thursday 17th January 2008.The actor and his wife, a model-turned-chef have named their baby girl Avis Ann Baldwin. She was born at the Dedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles at 12:59am. The hospital has become a hot spot for celebrity births - Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie have also recently given birth there. The Mulholland Falls star is a recovering drug addict and he met his British wife when she cooked his meals during a stint at rehab last year. The baby is Baldwins fourth child but first with his new wife. In a press statement he joked, "Thank God, she looks like her mother!"
