Colin Farrell has admitted that he didn't like Miami Vice.
The actor teamed up with Oscar winner Jamie Foxx for the big screen adaptation for the television show back in 2006.
Despite the stong cast list and Michael Mann in the director's chair the movie was not met well by the critics and struggled at the box office.
Speaking to Total Film the Irish actor said: "Miami Vice? I didn't like it so much - I thought it was style over substance and I accept a good bit of the responsibility.
"It was never going to be Lethal Weapon, but I think we missed an opportunity to have a friendship that also had some elements of fun."
The actor also revealed that the historical epic Alexander, in which he played the title role, also didn't turn out the way that he had hoped.
"It was a very big story and I know that Oliver [Stone, director] was very rushed to do a cut, but for me it just failed gloriously.
"It kept in step with the magnitude of Alexander's ambition and ego."
The actor is back on the big screen next month as he stars in Ondine. He is currently filming London Boulevard.
