Cillian Murphy has revealed that he was left reeling by the size of some of the sets and backdrops that he worked with while filming his new movie Inception.
The actor joins an all star cast lead by Leonardo DiCaprio in the sci-fi epic which is the first movie for director Christopher Nolan since The Dark Knight.
And while the actor admits that the shoot was on a huge scale Nolan kept things on a very 'intimate' level.
Speaking to the Press Association he said: "Some of the sets would take your breath away when you saw them.
"Chris' philosophy is keeping it small and keeping the set quite intimate so it feels quite private between the actor and the director, so you never felt overwhelmed or secondary in the process."
The actor also admitted that he had a great time with the cast: "You have to get over the initial 'arghh, it's Leonardo DiCaprio, it's Michael Caine!' but then once you get over that it's just actors working together and they were so brilliant and so lovely."
Inception is released 16th July.
