Christian Bale has revealed that he doesn't like talking about the process of movie making.
Bale is back on the big screen in the new year as he teams up Mark Wahlberg for boxing movie The Fighter, which looks at the early year of 'Irish' Micky Ward.
But the actor doesn't like talking about the process of filming too much as he believes that it takes some of the mystery away from the movie.
Speaking to Esquire the actor said: "Everybody talks about the process too much," he said. "The interesting thing about a movie is the movie."
"I don't get it when you get so much openness about the way movies are made, and the special effects and the behind-the-scenes stuff and all of that. I can't help but feel like this reduces it a little bit.
"It's something that shouldn't just be handed out as an extra on a DVD. It should be sought out by serious potential filmmakers who wanna learn how to do it."
The Fighter, which also stars Amy Adams, is the first movie from the actor since he was in pursuit of Johnny Depp in Public Enemies.
He is also set to reprise the role of Bruce Wayne in a third Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises, which will reunite him with director Christopher Nolan.
The Fighter is released 4th February.
