Chris Pine has revealed that he found it inspiring to work alongside Oscar winner Denzel Washington.
The pair join forces for Tony Scott's latest action movie Unstoppable, which has opened at number two at the U.S. box office this weekend.
Speaking to MTV News the actor said: "For me, the inspiring thing was to work with Denzel and Tony. And it just happened to be on a movie called 'Unstoppable.'
"If you really want to know why I did it, it was to work with two guys I'd watched and respected for years.
"It's very intimidating, probably more so than any other experience. I wanted to bring my A-game because I knew I was going toe-to-toe with one of the best of all time."
The movie is the second film for the actor this year after starring in Small Town Saturday Night but he is currently filming This Means War, which sees him star alongside Ton Hardy.
The actor is also set to reprise the role of Captain James T. Kirk as a second Star Trek movie is in the pipeline.
Unforgettable is released 24th November.
