Chris Hemsworth has hinted that there may be some tension between the superheros in The Avengers.
The actor reprises the role of Thor as part of an all star cast that includes Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo and Jeremy Renner - taking on the role of Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk and Hawkeye.
And a whole host of heroes means a whole host of egos and the Aussie star hints that that could lead to blows.
Speaking to MTV News the actor said: "There's certainly some tension. You've got big egos on these superheroes.
"None of them want to be told what to do, or form an alliance with these people who they don't have any understanding about.
"In the comic books, you see that it's not an easy mix, that's definitely in [the film]."
Shooting on The Avengers got underway last week - with Joss Whedon in the director's chair.
Hemsworth made his first appearance as Thor this week with the release of the stand alone movie, which was directed by Kenneth Branagh and also starred Natalie Portman and Anthony Hopkins.
The Avengers will hit cinemas 4th May 2012.
