Chris Hemsworth is inspired by co-star Anthony Hopkins. The actor steps into the big budget blockbuster for the first time this week as he takes on the title character in Marvel comic movie Thor. Thor sees Hemsworth team up with Hopkins and the Australian star was inspired by watching the Oscar winner work. Speaking to Men’s Health magazine the actor said: "His whole approach to this business, his work ethic and attitude on set was inspiring. "However many films down the track, he still has that [ethic] and he still is excited to be there and treats everyone as equals... He is an impressive person." And while Thor looks set to send Hemsworth’s career rocketing the actor admits that he didn’t always want to act. “You know, I was a lawyer one week, a doctor, a sportsman in some way, and then I found out I can pretend to do all those things in acting." Thor is released 27th April
"I always loved film, but never thought about it as a career choice," he added. "I had a different idea of what I wanted to do professionally every week.
