Chris Evans has revealed that he admires his character Captain America.
Evans took on the role of Steve Rogers for the first time last year in Captain America: The First Avenger and this month sees him return in Avengers Assemble.
And Evans admits that there are qualities in Rodgers that he wishes he had.
Speaking to Flicks and Bits the actor said: "I love the character, Steve Rogers, he's everything I wish I could be as a man, you know?"
"He's good for the sake of good, and that's a fun character to try to portray."
Rogers finds himself in 21 century New York and is being called upon to join Iron Man, Thor, Hawkeye and the Hulk to save the world.
This is the first movie for Evans since comedy What's Your Number? But he has a couple of projects in the pipeline.
He has already completed work on The Iceman and he is currently filming Snowpiercer, which also stars Jamie Bell and Tilda Swinton.
Avengers Assemble is released 26th April.
