Mad Max 4: Fury Road is not a sequel or a prequel according to the movie's star Charlize Theron.
Filming on a fourth instalment is expected to get underway this year as Theron teams up with Tom Hardy for a reimagining of the hit franchise.
Speaking to the Press Association the actress said: "Like with Snow White And The Huntsman, there is so much potential to re-imagine that world.
"It's such an interesting world and how much it still resonates today after 20 years or whatever it's been.
"We're going back to that world but this is not a prequel or sequel or anything like that."
And we are going to be seeing plenty of Theron this week as she is set to star in the re-magining of classic tale Snow White in Snow White and the Huntsman.
The movie sees the Oscar winner take on the role of the evil Queen alongside Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth.
She also part of the all star cast of Ridley Scott's sci-fi epic Prometheus, which is set before Alien.
