Charlize Theron has described her new movie Snow White and the Huntsman as 'epic'.
The Oscar winning actress is back on the big screen at the end of the month as she takes on the role of the evil queen in a re-telling of Snow White.
The film teams the actress up with director Rupert Sanders while Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth take on the title characters.
And Theron says that there is a real fantasy feel to this movie and it is very much a visual treat.
Speaking to Flicks and Bits the actress said: "It really is epic in scale, it is gorgeous, it is disturbing.
"It's always walking this very fine line of fantasy and reality, heightened fantasy and harsh realities. I think that's the thing that grounds it and makes you care, makes you connect, makes you hooked."
"At the same time it's an incredible feast for the eyes. It's beautifully shot, this film is really, really gorgeous.
"Scale-wise, and on how epic it is, and on how visual it is, combined with the actors Rupert got to play in this, I mean the dwarves alone, the cast is incredible!
This is just one of the high profile projects that Theron will be starring in this summer as she joins Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender in Ridley's Scott's new sci-fi movie Prometheus.
Snow White and the Huntsman is released 30th May.
