Cate Blanchett is to play Maid Marian opposite Russell Crowe's Robin Hood in a new movie about the Medieval hero.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button star will replace Sienna Miller in the epic, which will be directed by Brit Ridley Scott.
Shooting on the movie, originally titled Nottingham, will begin in Britain in April (09).
Daily Variety reports the film's budget will be $130 million (£89.6 million).
But Scott's revisionist take on the Robin Hood story, originally called Nottingham, has been filled with problems as production was delayed last year due to issues over how green Sherwood Forest was going to be to film in.
Last month it was revealed that Miller was leaving the project with rumours circulating that the actress was considered to young and too slim alongside Crowe.
The writers strike has also caused problems in getting the project filming.
The movie will focus on the noble and brave Sheriff of Nottingham who finds himself in a love triangel with Maid Marion and Robin Hood.
