Bryan Singer has revealed that he would like to return to the X-Men franchise that he kicked off back in 2000.
The filmmaker brought the popular comic and cartoon series to the big screen back in 2000 as Hugh Jack man, Halle Berry, Ian McKellan and Patrick Stewart all took on the popular characters.
The cast and Singer returned three year later with X-2 that was bigger and better than the original movie.
But the director left the franchise to concentrate on bringing Superman back to the big screen, a third X-Men movie went ahead without him.
But now the filmmaker has admitted that he would love to return: "I'm still looking to possibly return to the X-Men franchise.
"I've been talking to Fox about it. I love Hugh Jack man. I love the cast."
Since then the X-Men franchise has branched out as Hugh Jack man, who shot to fame playing Wolverine back in 2000, got his own spin-off movie, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, earlier this year.
There are already plans for a sequel with a stand alone movie for Magneto and Deadpool also in the pipeline.
