Berberian Sound Studio was one of the big winners at the 15th British Independent Film Awards as it took home four awards.
It may have missed out on Best Picture but it did win Best Director for Peter Strickland, Best Actor for Toby Jones, Best Achievement in Production, and Best Technical Achievement for sound designers Joakim Sundström and Stevie Haywood.
Broken walked away with the Best Picture gong as it saw off the challenge from Berberian Sound Studio, Sightseers, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and The Imposter.
The Imposter was another multi-award winner as it scooped Best Documentary and The Douglas Hickox Award for Best Debut Director for Bart Layton.
Toby Jones scooped Best Actor while up and coming star Andrea Riseborough won Best Actress for her role in Shadow Dancer.
Olivia Colman was recognised as Best Supporting actress for Hyde Park on Hudson while Rory Kinnear won Best Supporting Actor for his role in Broken.
And Kinnear faced some tough competition as Billy Connolly, Cillian Murphy, Domhall Gleeson and Tom Wilkinson were all nominated in that category.
My Brother The Devil is a movie that lit up the festival circuit earlier this year and actor James Floyd from the movie won Most Promising Newcomer.
