Bridesmaids has stormed to the top of the UK box office toppling Green Lantern from the #1 spot.
The movie sees Kristen Wiig return to the big screen for the first time since Paul and she leads a cast that includes Rose Byrne and Mya Rudolph.

The movie took £3.4 million in it's opening weekend and sits comfortably at the top of the box office.

Bad Teacher slipped just a single place to four - but all four top movies broke the £1 million barrier this week.
The Hangover Part II remained inside the top five this week as it dropped just a single place to number five.
X-Men: First Class, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Senna and Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules all fell one place to finish at six, seven, eight and nine.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has now grossed £31.5 million at the UK box office alone as the film aims to become the first movie of 2011 to break the $1 billion barrier.
Double Dhamaal was the second new entry inside the top ten this week as it opened at number 10.
