Breaking Dawn has hit a stumbling block as a salary dispute could lead to some of the roles being recast.
While it's believed that Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, who take on the central roles of Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black, are all close to signing deals all it now well elsewhere.
According to the Hollywood Reporter Kellen Lutz and Ashley Greene, Cullen siblings Emmet and Alice could find themselves not returning for the fourth movie after demanding more money.
The problem has arisen because the stars all signed for three more movies after the success of Twilight but with Breaking Dawn being split into two movies contracts for an extra movie have had to be negotiated.
A source at Summit said: "We may have a situation where one of them is thrown out on the street to make a point.
A second source said: "This thing is gonna be two movies. With or without the cast intact."
It wouldn't be the first time that a role has been re-cast in the franchise as Bryce Dallas Howard will take over the role of Victoria from Rachelle Lefevre in this summer's Eclipse.
