The final Twilight movie may be split into two.
Breaking Dawn is the longest and most complex book in the Twilight Saga series and, according to Variety, the executives at Summit Entertainment are considering splitting the film into two parts.
This follows in the footsteps of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the final story in the boy wizard series, which will be released in 2010 and 2011 and The Hobbit which has also been split into two parts.
Chris Weitz, the man behind New Moon, is also rumoured to be wanted for the fourth instalment of the franchise by the studio.
Weitz replaced Catherine Hardwicke behind the camera after it was reported that Hardwicke was unhappy with the short amount of time she had to work on New Moon before it's release.
New Moon has been a huge success topping the box office in the States and in the UK, it has so far grossed over $473 at the global box office easily making back it's $50 million budget.
The team have already wrapped on Eclipse, which is due out next summer, David Slade is on directing duties because Weitz was in post production with New Moon.
