Bradley Cooper admits that he and Paul Rudd were stunned when they landed Broadway roles opposite Julia Roberts.
The Hangover star and his pal Rudd worked with Roberts on Three Days of rain back in 2006 and he admits that they still don't feel like Hollywood stars.
Speaking to Details magazine the actor said: "We would sit around laughing saying if we had had a crystal ball when we were shooting Wet Hot American Summer and it had told us we were going to be the two guys opposite Julia Roberts in a play, we would have thought that was crazy.
"Movie stars used to be dashing, masculine, and mysterious and we're the kind of guys that laugh at our own farts."
And it was The Hangover, which was the surprise super hit of summer 2009, that shot Cooper to superstardom.
Having already topped the box office this year as part of the ensemble cast for Valentine's Day he is back with The A Team later this summer.
Cooper joins Liam Neeson, Sharlto Copley, Quinton Jackson, Jessica Biel and Patrick Wilson in the big screen adaptation of the cult TV show, in which he takes on the role of Faceman.
The A-Team is released 30th July.
