Bradley Cooper has described working on Silver Linings Playbook as hitting the jackpot.
The actor takes on the lead role of Pat in David O.Russell's big screen adaptation of the Matthew Quick novel of the same name.
And Cooper says that he was really keen to work with the Oscar nominated filmmaker.
Speaking to the Press Association the actor said: "I just feel I hit the jackpot with Silver Linings Playbook. That I get a chance to work with David O Russell is a dream come true.
"I've never seen a bad performance in any of his movies, but perhaps the best performances of their [his casts'] careers."
Silver Linings Playbook sees Cooper star alongside Jennifer Lawrence and reunite with Limitless co-star Robert De Niro.
The movie has been met well by the critics and it is tipped to feature on the awards circuit and possibly at the Oscars.
Cooper is currently filming The Hangover Part III where he will reprise the role of Phil for the final time.
Silver Linings Playbook is out now.
