Billy Connolly has described the cast as the 'who's who' of the acting world.
The funnyman will be back on the big screen in the new year as he stars in Dustin Hoffman's directorial debut Quartet.
he was one the red carpet earlier this week for the premiere of the movie and he chatted about how the movie came about and what it was like working with the likes of Maggie Smith and Tom Courtenay:
Quartet lit up the London Film Festival when it was screened earlier this year and Connolly is part of a cast that includes Smith, Courtenay, Pauline Collins, Sheridan Smith and Michael Gambon.
It is the first time that we have seen Billy Connolly on the big screen in a while - although he did lend his voice to animation movie Brave earlier this year.
But we will also be seen in the next two instalments of The Hobbit trilogy as he is set to take on the role of Dain Ironfoot.
