Avatar's box office dominance continued down under as it topped the Aussie box office in impressive style.
With a gross of almost $12 million James Cameron's sci-fi epic had no competition for the top spot.
Avatar has dominated the global box office, taking the top spot in America, and has so far grossed $241 million.
New Moon held onto the second spot, failing to break the $1 million mark while Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs moved up one place from four to three.
Last week's number one Paranormal Activity fell three places to four while there was a two place drop for Where The Wild Things Are.
Avatar was the only new entry inside the top ten but there was a move up the chart for Planet 51 which moved up from seven to six.
