Arnold Schwarzenegger has admitted that he is happy to back on the big screen after a stint in politics.
While he has made some cameo appearances in movies over the years The Expendables 2 marks the first major acting role for Schwarzenegger since he stepped down as Governor of California.
He joins an all star cast in the movie that includes Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis and Jason Statham and he is delighted to be back.
Speaking to the Press Association at the premiere of the movie the actor said: "I am very happy.
"I was very happy to be in the movie business before, I was very happy to be Governor of the great state of California, and I'm very happy now to be back in the movie business.
"That's the great thing about my life - it's like a joyride, going from one thing to the other with great ease, and it makes it fun. It makes life spicy."
The Expendables 2 comes two years after the success of the first movie but this time around Simon West is in the director's chair instead of Stallone.
And it looks like we are going to be seeing plenty of Schwarzenegger and Stallone as the pair have just worked on another movie The Tomb together.
The Expendables 2 is released 16th August.
