Anne Hathaway as Catwoman
Anne Hathaway says that she still cannot believe that she landed the role of Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises.
The actress will return to the big screen next week for Christopher Nolans' Batman blockbuster alongside Christian Bale.
And she admits that she still has trouble wrapping her head around the idea that she did get the role.
Speaking to Access Hollywood the actress said: "I couldn't believe that this was even an opportunity made available to me and then when I actually got it I, I mean it... it's a little bit too good to be true.
"I'm kind of waiting for someone to come out and just be like, 'Psych! You got punked!'"
Selena Kyle hasn't been seen in a Batman movie since Batman Returns back in 1992 when the role was played by Michelle Pfeiffer.
The Dark Knight Rises is released 20th July.
