Anne Hathaway revealed that she practically lived in the gym in a bid to get into shape for the costume she would have to wear in The Dark Knight Rises.
The Oscar nominated actress brings Catwoman back to the big screen this summer in the Christopher Nolan directed movie.
And she admits that she worked hard in the gym for almost a year previous to shooting in a bid to get into shape.
Speaking to Allure magazine about the suit the actress said: "It was a psychological terrorist. The suit, thoughts of my suit, changing my life so I would fit into that suit...
"It dominated my year. I went into the gym for ten months and didn't come out."
The Dark Knight Rises looks set to be one of the biggest movies of the year as Hathaway teams up with Christian Bale, Tom Hardy and Marion Cotillard.
The actress is set to star in another high anticipated project as she is currently filming Les Miserables, in which she plays Fantine.
The musical marks the return to the director's chair for Tom Hooper, his first movie since The King's Speech.
The Dark Knight Rises is released 20th July.
