Angelina Jolie has admitted that she does her own stunts to impress her children.
The Oscar winning actress is back in an action role this summer in Salt, directed by Phillip Noyce and also starring Liev Schreiber and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly she said: "The funny thing about having children is that now I am twice as motivated to do a cool stunt because my kids will like it."
And despite having just given birth to twins Jolie revealed that she loved the challenge of having to get physically ready for her new movie Salt.
"I had just had two babies, and the push to be physically strong was very welcome at the time."
The movie sees Jolie star as Evelyn Salt, a CIA officer, who swore an oath to duty, honour and country. Her loyalty will be tested when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy.
Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture. Salt's efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues and the question remains: "Who is Salt?"
Salt is the first movie for Jolie since her Oscar nominated performance in the Clint Eastwood drama Changeling, and it's her first action role since Wanted.
She is currently filming The Tourist alongside Johnny Depp.
Salt is released 20th August.
