Angelina Jolie says that she want audiences to recognise the message of hope that her cast and crew brought to her new movie In the Land of Blood and Honey.
In The Land of Blood And Honey marks the directorial debut for the Oscar winning actress, a movie that is being met with glowing reviews from audiences and critics.
Speaking to Flicks and Brits the actress said: "I hope people acknowledge the great talent of an extraordinary region of the world.
"I hope people recognise the unity of a very brave cast from all over the region, who've come together across religious and ethnic lines, that's a symbol of hope and what we should be pushing for and encouraging in the region, in the world."
Set during the Bosnian War the movie follows a couple find themselves of different side of the conflict.
Jolie also penned the script for the film and the movie picked up a Golden Globe award earlier this year.
We haven't sees Jolie on the big screen since The Tourist at the end of 2010, but she did lend her voice to Kung Fu Panda 2 in the summer.
