Andrew Garfield has revealed that he likes taking on roles that are outside his comfort zone that allow him to explore different characters.
The actor is set to take on the role of Peter Parker aka Spider Man when the popular comic series gets a re-boot.
And the actor has mixed and matched his roles this year and he admits that that means he nver gets bored with his work.
Speaking to Movie City News the actor said: "I think I'd probably be lying if I said I don't get off on exploring something that's very different to my comfort zone, or something that I'm bored of in myself," he said.
"I think that's definitely a part of what excites me about acting - accessing parts of yourself that you're too afraid to access in your actual life, where that will have repercussions."
The British star was last seen on the big screen in The Social Network, a movie that has been a huge critical hit and topped the U.S. box office.
He joins forces with Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan in the new year for the big screen adaptation of Never Let Me Go.
