Amanda Seyfried has revealed that her latest role Chloe helped her develop as an actress because it's a very complex role.
The actress stars alongside Julianne Moore and Liam Neeson in the movie which follows the relationship between a husband and wife when a escort is introduced into their marriage.
Speaking to MTV the actress said: "I'm so many levels beyond [what I'm used to] because [Chloe is] so intense and it really is a character that's just kind of sick, and that's really fun to play," she explained.
"It makes me feel like I've evolved as an actor too. I mean, maybe I haven't, but it makes me feel like I have!"
Seyfried has worked alongside the likes of Meryl Streep and now Julianne Moore and she admits that you can do nothing but learn from them as you watch them work.
"When you watch somebody like Julianne and Meryl and you can be round them for 12 hours a day, you absorb it all, kind of what they're doing, how they behave, how they respond to things. It's something that becomes innately part of how I behave as well.
"[Moore is] very professional and she separates her work from her real life, her family, and she's completely focused at all times, but she can also have fun between takes."
Seyfried is back on the big screen in April with Dear John, which also stars Channing Tatum.
