Tim Burton cannot pick a favourite movie from his body of work because each project means something to the filmmaker.
The director enjoyed huge success earlier this year when Alice In Wonderland, which reunited him with Johnny Depp, broke the $1 billion barrier at the global box office.
And while the director has enjoyed hit after hit in recent years he admits that he cannot pick a favourite.
Speaking to Reuters he said:"Each one you spend time with so they're all a part of you. Even the ones that weren't successful, they're still a part of you.
"But there are certain films like Edward Scissorhands that are more personal to me because the themes in that movie were very strong, personal feelings that were being explored when I was a teenager."
"Edward, the main character from the movie, is a character I kind of related to in terms of delusional qualities.
"I like Sweeney Todd because he didn't say very much. With every character you try to find something personal in it."
Burton laready has a couple of movies in the pipeline as he is set to shoot Dark Shadows, an adaptation of the popular TV series, which will once again star Depp and animation movie Frankenweenie.
