Alice In Wonderland is sitting pretty at the top of the UK box office after breaking the 3D record this weekend.
Tim Burton's latest collaboration was the only new entry inside the top ten as it grossed £10 million, easily toppling Avatar from the top spot.
And it was the James Cameron movie that previously held the record for the biggest 3D opening at £8.5 million.
The movie reunites Burton with leading man Johnny Depp, their seventh collaboration together, and is the biggest opening for the filmmaker.
The movie has topped the box office in America and has grossed in excess of $210 million already.
Avatar, which had re-claimed the top spot, was pushed down to two, failing to break through the £1 million barrier this week.
There was no move at three as horror movie The Crazies hung on while The Lovely Bones dropped two places from two to four.
Disney's The Princess and the Frog Dropped one place to round off the top five while John Travolta's latest movie From Paris With Love moved up two from eight to six.
This weeks biggest faller came in the form of Valentine's Day, which dropped three places from six to nine. Legion and Case 39, the other new releases this week, failed to make the top ten.
