Alexander Skarsgard has revealed that he was impressed with Rihanna's acting ability and how she coped with her hectic schedule.
The singer turns actress as she makes her big screen debut next year with Battleship, which also stars Liam Neeson and Taylor Kitsch.
He told Access Hollywood: "This is her first movie but she’s great, she's really, really good in it.
"And her working... She's got a crazy schedule. She's really diligent and I'm impressed."
"We would work and then she'd fly to LA to perform at the MTV Music Awards and then fly back red eye, land, go straight to set, work all day.
"No complaints, nothing. She's really solid."
Skarsgard has mixed and matched TV and movie roles this year after starring in True Blood, taking on the role of Eric Northman.
He has also completed work on Straw Dogs, which sees him work alongside James Marsden and Kate Bosworth, and Melancholia.
