Abbie Cornish has described meeting Robert De Niro as 'surreal.'
The actress stars alongside De Niro in new movie Limitless, released this week, which is an adaptation of novel The Dark Fields.
Talking to the Daily Telegraph the actress said: "Meeting him was like this fog for a moment.
"I know it sounds silly but when I saw his face, all his characters and performances flashed before my eyes. [It was] just like a near death experience.
"It was surreal and wonderful and amazing.''
Limitless is the first time that we have seen Cornish on the big screen since Bright Star - she did however lend her voice to Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole.
It's a busy few weeks of promoting films for the actress as action movie Sucker Punch is also released next week.
She has completed work on W.E, which is directed by Madonna and has The Girl in the pipeline.
Limitless is released 25th March.
