StudioCanal have announced that '71 will be hitting the big screen on 10th October.
'71 is the latest film for Jack O'Connell at was met well when it was screened at the Berlin Film Festival earlier this year.
O'Connell has already enjoyed Starred Up this year, and '71 looks set to send his star rocketing even further.
'71 marks the feature film directorial debut for Yann Demange, having worked in TV on projects such as Top Boy and Secret Diary of a Call Girl.
Demange has brought together a great cast as O'Connell is joined by Sean Harris, Sam Reid, and Paul Anderson.
Jack O’Connell plays Gary Hook, a young British soldier accidentally abandoned by his unit following a riot on the streets of Belfast.
Unable to tell friend from foe, and increasingly wary of his own comrades, the raw recruit must survive the night alone and find his way to safety through a disorientating, alien and deadly landscape.
'71 is released 10th October.
