2016 has already been a stellar year for animation film and there are still so many set to hit the big screen... including Moana.
Moana will be the second offering from Disney this year - but we are going to have to wait until December before it is finally released.
Disney has already enjoyed huge success with Zootropolis and Moana is promising to be another animation gem from the studio. I have to admit, it is one of the December movies that I am already looking forward to.
Last week Dwayne Johnson released the first poster for the film and hinted that we wouldn't have to wait long for the new trailer. He was right as the brand new teaser trailer has arrived and we have it for you to take a look at:
The movie will introduce us to Auli'i Cravalho, who will bring the title character to life, while Johnson is also on board.
Moana also sees Ron Clements and John Musker back in the director's chair for their first Disney movie since the success of The Princess and the Frog - it is great to see them back.
Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped - and no one today knows why.
From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes Moana, a sweeping adventure about a spirited teenager who sails out on a daring mission to prove herself a master wayfinder and fulfil her ancestors' unfinished quest.
During her journey, Moana (Cravalho) meets the once-mighty demi-god Maui (Johnson), and together, they traverse the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous fiery creatures and impossible odds.
Moana is the latest in a long line of Disney successes - Frozen, Wreck-It-Ralph, Big Hero 6 and Zootropolis have all enjoyed critical and commercial success in recent years.
Moana is promising to be another visually stunning film from the studio and I cannot wait to see what they deliver next.
Moana is released 2nd December.
