Love Rosie

Love Rosie

Cecelia Ahern has already seen P.S. I Love You adapted for the big screen, and now Love, Rosie is set to be released this autumn.

Love, Rosie is an adaptation of the bestselling book Where Rainbows End, and has been adapted for the big screen by Juliette Towhidi.

The movie also marks the return of Christian Ditter to the director's chair for the first time since Vicky and the Treasure of the Gods.

Ditter has brought us movies such as French for Beginners, but this looks set to be the biggest film of Ditter's career so far.

Love, Rosie sees Sam Claflin and Lily Collins star together for the first time, as they take on the central role of best friends Alex and Rosie.

This will be the first time that we have seen Collins on the big screen since The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, while Love, Rosie is the first of two autumn movies for Claflin: the second being The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1.

Claflin and Collins are joined on the cast list by Tamsin Egerton, Christian Cooke, Suki Waterhouse, and Jamie Winstone.

Love, Rosie centres on Rosie and her best friend Alex who take a leap of faith, both on life and on each other, when they decide to go to the US together to attend university. But fate has other plans for Rosie.

Over the next 12 years, their lives change dramatically but the connection remains.

Where Rainbows End is a book that is well worth checking out before the film's release, and I can't wait to see how Claflin & Collins tackle these characters.

So, if you are looking for a bit of rom/com this autumn, look no further than Love, Rosie.

Love, Rosie is released 2nd October.
