Trance

Trance

Trance is one of the movies that I am most looking forward to this month as it marks the return to the director’s chair for the terrifically talented Danny Boyle.

I have been a fan of Boyle’s work for years and this time around Trance sees him tackle the criminal drama - a script that was penned by Joe Ahearne and John Hodge.

We have already treated you to one fantastic clip this week but now we have a trio of snippets from the film for you to check out:

Having one of the best British directing talents is exciting enough but when you see that one of the best British acting talents is on the cast list it does make the movie even more enticing.

Of course I am talking about the fantastic James McAvoy who leads the cast in the central role of Simon.

There has been a real lack of McAvoy on the big screen over the last twelve months but March is a busy period for the actor as Trance comes hot off the heels of Welcome To The Punch.

Trance is the first time that McAvoy has teamed up with director Boyle and the result promises to be super exciting.

McAvoy is joined on the cast list by Rosario Dawson and Vincent Cassel in a movie that packed with plenty of thrills and intrigue.

Trance is a psychological thriller about a fine art auctioneer, mixed up with a criminal gang, who join forces with a hypnotherapist to recover a lost painting.

2013 is set to be another great year for British cinema and Trance is one of the movies that will be setting the big screen alight and flying the flag for UK film.

Trance is released 27th March.
