If you are looking for some terrific family fun on the big screen, then this is definitely the film for you, as the adventures of Hiccup and co continue.
An all-star voice cast has once again been assembled for the film, as Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Kristen Wiig, Jonah Hill and Christopher Mintz-Plasse are all returning to voice characters we were introduced to in the first film.
There are also some exciting new additions to watch out for as Oscar winner Cate Blanchett, Kit Harington and Djimon Hounsou have all lent their voices to the film.
Speaking of the film, we have two terrific new clips to share with you that will whet your appetite for the rest of the movie:
As well as familiar names on the voice cast list, there is also a familiar name in the director’s chair as Dean DeBlois is also back for the sequel.
As well as being at the helm, DeBlois has also penned the screenplay: which is once again based on the book by Cressida Cowell.
The thrilling second chapter of the epic How To Train Your Dragon trilogy brings us back to the fantastical world of Hiccup and Toothless five years after the two have successfully united dragons and Vikings on the island of Berk.
While Astrid, Snoutlout and the rest of the gang are challenging each other to dragon races (the island's new favourite contact sport), the now inseparable pair journey through the skies, charting unmapped territories and exploring new worlds.
When one of their adventures leads to the discovery of a secret ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the centre of a battle to protect the peace.
Now, Hiccup and Toothless must unite to stand up for what they believe while recognizing that only together do they have the power to change the future of both men and dragons.
