There is just a day to go until Brooklyn hits the big screen and it is a film that has been winning over critics and audiences since the beginning of the year.
Ever since Brooklyn premiered at the Sundance Film Festival at the start of 2015, Brooklyn has been one of the most talked about dramas - many are tipping it to be a major Oscar contender.
Brooklyn is a big screen adaptation of the book of the same name by Colm Tóibín and has been adapted for the big screen by writer Nick Hornby. The movie sees John Crowley in the director's chair and Saoirse Ronan in the lead role.
We are big fans of Ronan here at FemaleFirst and she features in a trio of great new clips from the film, which should whet your appetite:
While Ronan is no stranger to the big screen, Brooklyn looks set to be the film that sends her acting star rocketing even further. The young actress could well find herself in the Best Actress Oscar race for the very first time.
However, it is not all about Ronan as Domhnall Gleeson, Emory Cohen, Jim Broadbent and Julie Walters make up a wonderfully talented cast.
Brooklyn is the story of Eilis, a young woman who moves from small-town Ireland to Brooklyn, NY where she strives to forge a new life for herself, finding work and first love in the process.
When a family tragedy brings her back to Ireland, she finds herself confronting a terrible dilemma - a heart-breaking choice between two men and two countries.
If you are looking for drama on the big screen this weekend then Brooklyn is a movie that you cannot afford to miss. It looks set to be one of the best movies of 2015.
Brooklyn is released 6th November.
