Labor Day is a movie that I am looking forward to, as it sees Kate Winslet return to the big screen for the first time since the beginning of 2013.
Labor Day is an adaptation of the book of the same name by Joyce Maynard, and sees Winslet team up with director Jason Reitman for the first time.
Reitman has brought us films such as Juno and Up In The Air in recent years, but this is his first directorial outing since Young Adult back in 2012. Reitman has also adapted Maynard's novel for the big screen.
We have a great new clip for you to take a look at ahead of the film's release on Friday:
Labor Day will also see Winslet team up with Josh Brolin for the first time, in a movie that is loaded with acting talent.
Winslet and Brolin are joined by Tobey Maguire, Clark Gregg and J.K Simmons.
The movie will also introduce us to the talents of Gattlin Griffith, who will play Winslet's son in the film.
Griffith has appeared in the likes of Couples Retreat and Green Lantern, and is really starting to make a name for himself; starring in a Jason Reitman movie is certainly not going to do him any harm.
Labor Day centres on 13-year-old Henry Wheeler (Griffith / Maguire), who struggles to be the man of his house and care for his reclusive mother Adele (Winslet) while confronting all the pangs of adolescence.
On a back-to-school shopping trip, Henry and his mother encounter Frank Chambers (Brolin), a man both intimidating and clearly in need of help, who convinces them to take him into their home and later is revealed to be an escaped convict.
The events of this long Labor Day weekend will shape them for the rest of their lives.
Drama is where Winslet has always really excelled as an actress, and I can't wait to see her get her teeth into another intriguing role.
Labor Day is released 21st March.
