Guy Ritchie is set to return to the director's chair in 2017 with his latest film King Arthur: Legend of the Sword Trailer.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword Trailer was one of the films that previewed at Comic-Con over the weekend and the fab first trailer for the film was revealed.
Ritchie has brought us movies such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch and Sherlock Holmes during his career, but this is his first feature since The Man from U.N.C.L.E. last summer.
As well as being in the director's chair, Ritchie has also collaborated with Joby Harold and Lionel Wigram to pen the film's screenplay.
The movie sees the filmmaker team up with actor Charlie Hunnam for the first time, as he takes on the central role of King Arthur.
Ritchie has assembled an exciting and talented cast as Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen, Jude Law and Eric Bana are all also on board. It will be the third film for Ritchie and Law, after working together on the Sherlock Holmes movies.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword looks set to mix fantasy with action as Richie puts a new spin on a story that we all know so well.
When the child Arthur's father is murdered, Vortigern (Jude Law), Arthur's uncle, seizes the crown. Robbed of his birth-right and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city.
But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy... whether he likes it or not.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is released March 2017.
