Kill Your Darlings will be hitting the big screen in three weeks and it is a movie that we are really looking forward to here at FemaleFirst.
Kill Your Darlings marks the return of Daniel Radcliffe - we haven't seen him on screen in over a year - in what will be one of his most daring film roles to date.
Radcliffe is shaking off his Harry Potter image and staking his claim as a major acting force - and it early reviews are anything to go by he seems to have succeeded.
A brand new trailer for the film has been released and we have if for you to take a look at:
Radcliffe will take on the role of Allen Ginsberg in the movie and is joined on the cast list by Dane DeHaan, Ben Foster and Elizabeth Olsen - all equally exciting acting talents.
Kill Your Darlings also introduces us to John Krokidas as he makes his directorial debut with this movie.
Set in the 1940’s during the early days of the literary revolution, Kill Your Darlings is a true crime thriller based on the previously untold story of a murder that implicated the men who went on to become the great poets of the Beat Generation; Allen Ginsberg, Lucien Carr, Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs.
Kill Your Darlings tells how these young men first meet at Columbia University in 1944. A story of friendship, obsession, jealousy and genius, their self-proclaimed brilliance is stained by the brutal murder of David Kammerer, which both consecrated and fractured their early fellowship.
Daniel Radcliffe has been taking on some interesting and exciting acting roles of late and I can't wait to see him in action in Kill Your Darlings.
Kill Your Darlings is released 6th December.
