Kick-Ass 2 is one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2013 after the success of the first film back in 2010.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chloë Grace Moretz are back as Kick Ass and Hit Girl and they are once again called upon to help fight crime.
The movie is based on Kick Ass 2 and Hit Girl by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr and sees Jeff Wadlow take over the director's chair.
And the very first trailer for the movie has been released:
As well as being in the director's chair Wadlow has also penned the script while Matthew Vaughn - who helmed the first film - is serving as one of the producers this time around.
Christopher Mintz-Plasse is another actor who will be returning while there are a host of new faces on the cast list.
Jim Carrey is the big addition as he will take on the role of Colonely Stars and Stripes - and he really does look fantastic.
Donald Faison, Robert Emms, Lindy Booth and Daniel Kaluuya are all also on board.

When we last saw junior assassin Hit Girl and young vigilante Kick-Ass, they were trying to live as normal teenagers Mindy and Dave. With graduation looming and uncertain what to do, Dave decides to start the world’s first superhero team with Mindy.
Unfortunately, when Mindy is busted for sneaking out as Hit Girl, she’s forced to retire - leaving her to navigate the terrifying world of high-school mean girls on her own.
With no one left to turn to, Dave joins forces with Justice Forever, run by a born-again ex-mobster named Colonel Stars and Stripes.
Just as they start to make a real difference on the streets, the world’s first super villain, The Mother F%&*^r, assembles his own evil league and puts a plan in motion to make Kick-Ass and Hit Girl pay for what they did to his dad.
But there’s only one problem with his scheme: If you mess with one member of Justice Forever, you mess with them all.
Kick Ass was a trumph when it hit the big screen back in 2010 and finger's crossed the sequel is as good as the original.
Kick-Ass 2 is released 16th August.
