Jennifer Lawrence is returning to the big screen this week with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2, but she is also whipping up a storm with her upcoming film Joy.

Yes, Lawrence will be back on the big screen in the New Year as she reunites with director David O. Russell for their third feature film together.
The duo have already worked on and enjoyed huge success with Silver Linings Playbook and America Hustle - which resulted in Lawrence winning a Best Actress Oscar and being nominated for Best Supporting Actress. It looks like more award nominations could be coming her way for this latest performance.
Lawrence will take on the title role of Joy in the film and takes centre stage in this great new clip, which also features Bradley Cooper. Check it out:
Joy sees Lawrence also reunite with Cooper for their fourth film together. As well as working on Silver Linings Playbook and America Hustle - which also saw Cooper pick up a couple of Oscar nominations - the duo reunited last year for Serena. It is good to see them sharing the screen once again.
A wonderful cast has been assembled as Lawrence and Cooper are joined by Robert De Niro, Édgar Ramírez, Isabella Rossellini, Diane Ladd, and Virginia Madsen.

Allies become adversaries and adversaries become allies, both inside and outside the family, as Joy's inner life and fierce imagination carry her through the storm she faces.
There has been Oscar whispers surrounding Joy before we even saw the first trailer for the film - but that is the effect that Lawrence seems to have on every movie that she stars in. We are going to have to wait until the nominations are announced to see if Lawrence is in the mix once again.
