Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit is going to be THE movie not to miss this Christmas as this famous literary character returns to the big screen.
Chris Pine becomes the latest actor to play Ryan on film as he teams up with director Kenneth Branagh.
Branagh returns to the director's chair for the first time since Thor to kick off what could be a new Jack Ryan franchise.
We have already been treated to one great trailer for the film, and now we have a second for you to take a look at:
A fantastic cast has been assembled around Pine as Branagh will also star in the film as well as director. Kevin Costner and Keira Knightley are also on board.
This original story follow a young Jack (Pine) as he uncovers a financial terrorist plot.
The story follows him from 9/11, through his tour of duty in Afghanistan, which scarred him forever, and into his early days in the Financial Intelligence Unit of the modern CIA where he becomes an analyst, under the guardianship of his handler, Harper (Costner).
When Ryan believes he’s uncovered a Russian plot to collapse the United States economy, he goes from being an analyst to becoming a spy and must fight to save his own life and those of countless others, while also trying to protect the thing that’s more important to him than anything, his relationship with his fiancée Cathy (Knightley).
We have see actors such as Harrison Ford, Alec Baldwin and Ben Affleck take on the role of Jack Ryan and now it is Pine's turn to take on this much loved Tom Clancy character.
Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit is released 26th December.
