Jane Levy is one of the brightest young acting stars and she will be returning to the big screen this week with Evil Dead.
The movie is a remake of the 1981 classic and sees the actress team up with director Fede Alvarez which Sam Raimi is serving as producer.
Levy kicked off her acting career back in 2011 when she took on the role of Tessa Altman in sitcom Suburgatory.
The series saw her team up with Jeremy Sisto, Cheryl Hines and Alan Tudyk and it ran for two seasons.
She enjoyed plenty of success on the small screen in 2011 as she also played Mandy Milkovich in Shameless appearing in five episodes.
Levy was named one of the most promising stars of the year and it wasn't long before the cinema came knocking.
She made her big screen debut in 2012 when she landed the role of Caroline in Ry Russo-Young's Nobody Walks - a script that she wrote with Lena Dunham.

But both movies struggled with critics and at the box office.

The movie follows five friends who become holed up in a remote cabin.
When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.
It is a bloody and physical role for Levy this time around as her character of Mia finds herself possessed by a demonic being.
Evil Dead has already topped the U.S. box office and seems to being met well by audiences and by the critics.
Evil Dead is set to be the movie that could be the breakthrough for Levy and In A Dark Place is set to be her next project.
