There is no bigger Disney star than Mickey Mouse, and he is back on the big screen this December.
Yes, Mickey Mouse will star in Get A Horse, a short film that will play in front of the highly anticipated Frozen.
We are super excited to see the short here at FemaleFirst and we have a great clip to check out:
The black and white short film has been directed by Lauren MacMullan and has been made to celebrate Mickey's 85th birthday.
Featuring Walt Disney himself as the voice of Mickey Mouse, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 'Get A Horse!' follows Mickey, his favourite gal pal Minnie Mouse (voice of Marcellite Garner) and their friends Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow as they delight in a musical haywagon ride - until Peg-Leg Pete (voice of Billy Bletcher) shows up and tries to run them off the road.
With both classic black-and-white, hand-drawn animation and up-to-the-minute technical wizardry - often in the same frame - this groundbreaking short takes a sharp turn when Mickey finds himself separated from Minnie and must use every trick up his sleeve to find his way back to her.
Mickey Mouse is the most iconic character of all of Disney's creations and so FemaleFirst tips their hat to him and wish him a very Happy Birthday.
Get A Horse will play in front of Frozen from 6th December.
