Can Dan O'Reilly, aka Dapper Laughs immerse himself enough in the world of football to finally enjoy the sport that has done nothing for him throughout his entire life? That's the question posed in new comedy documentary Fanatical, which is set to come to stores and digital platforms on Friday, September 6, 2019.
This week, the first NSFW trailer dropped for the film, showcasing some of the chaos we should expect when the movie enjoys its release. Check it out below:
As well as the banter, there's a real heart to the film that'll be explored through interviews conducted by O'Reilly, including one with football's first transgender referee, Lucy Clark. He'll also meet with a super-fan, who has over 30 tattoos dedicated to Jose Mourinho, a football 'hooligan', and a number of football legends, as well as a psychologist to try and work out why anybody would support non-league football squads.
It's not all chat however, as he'll be forced to jump into the action himself, training with a League Two side to see if he's got any skills on the pitch.
With a whole host of recognisable faces from the world of sport, this looks to be a real laugh for any football fan - and even those who don't like the sport themselves!
Fanatical comes to stores and digital retailers on Friday, September 6, 2019. The world premiere takes place at The Troxy in London, on Thursday, September 5, 2019.
