Edgar Wright is one of the brightest British directing talents, and he is back this week with new movie The World's End.
The movie sees him reunite with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost for their highly anticipated third movie together.
Wright kicked off his directing career back in 1993 with Dead Right, before moving on to feature film A Fistful of Fingers.
While the film only had a limited theatrical release it did catch the eye of Matt Lucas and David Walliams, who teamed up with Wright for Mash and Peas and Sire Bernard's Stately Homes.
During the mid to late nineties Wright worked mostly in television with Asylum, Is It Bill Bailey? And Alexei Sayle's Merry-Go-Round.
Asylum saw Wright work with Simon Pegg and Jessica Hynes for the first time, and that actors would bring Wright on board for Spaced a few years later.
Spaced would run of two series and it really cemented the working relationship between Wright and Pegg.
In 2004 they would team up again as they penned horror/comedy Shaun of the Dead; which would only be Wright's second feature film.
The movie follows Shaun, played by Pegg, as he tried to get his life and love-life in order - oh yes, and he was having to battle the undead at the same time.
Shaun of the Dead was both a critical and commercial success as it was a hit on both sides of the pond.
Since then it has gone on to gain a cult following, and it widely regarded as one of the best British movies of recent years.
Three years later Wright was back in the director's chair for Hot Fuzz; which saw him team up with Pegg to pen the script once more.
Pegg and Frost would lead the cast list once more, as two cops who had very different ideas about how to do the job.
It would be another critical and commercial hit as Wright, Pegg and Frost proved a formidable movie making team.
In 2010 Wright made his American film debut with Scott Pilgrim vs The World; an adaptation of the graphic novel series by Bryan Lee O'Malley.
Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Anna Kendrick and Chris Evans made up an impressive cast list for the comedy movie.
The movie may not have been a box office hit but it was a critical on. However it was a huge success when it was released
We haven't seen Wright in the director's chair since 2010... but this week he is back with The World's End.
The movie follows five friends that reunite to try and complete the epic pub-crawl they failed twenty years ago. But when they return to their home town, things aren't quite what they seem.
Pegg and Frost are back and they are joined by Martin Freeman, Eddie Marsan, Paddy Considine and Rosamund Pike on the cast list.
And there are even bigger projects ahead for Wright as he is set to direct Ant-Man - one of the upcoming movies from Marvel.
Wright and Joe Cornish have penned the screenplay and it is expected to hit cinema screens in 2015 as part of Phase Three.
The World's End is out now.
