Genie and Sebastian
Do you have beady eyes? Have you spotted Disney characters making cameos in other Disney movies?
It seems that the studio has been having a little bit of fun over the years and we take a look at where just some of these cameos appear.
- Aladdin
This first one is a little more obvious than the rest as we see Genie pull Sebastian (from Little Mermaid) out of a book of spells. In that same sequence we also see Pinocchio pop up.
But a cameo that is not so obvious in Aladdin is that of Beast from Beauty and the Beast.
When the Sultan is sat building his tower of toys you can see a little figurine of the character from the 1992 movie.
- Tarzan
Tarzan was released back in 1999 and features a brief cameo from Mrs Potts and her china set - including Chip - from Beauty and the Beast.
- Princess and the Frog
And it is not just the older Disney movies that have these cameos as the new movies are getting in on it too.
Princess and the Frog was released back in 2010 and the magic carpet from Aladdin appears; check out the top right hand corner.
- Monsters Inc
Sulley and Boo are two of the most well loved Disney characters of all time and it was back in 2001 that Monsters Inc hit the big screen.
As you can see below Boo hands a Nemo toy over to Sulley.
- Finding Nemo
Finding Nemo was the biggest grossing Pixar/Disney movie until Toy Story 3 came along and it is Buzz Lightyear that appears in this movie.
Check out the toys in front of the chest and you will see our hero on the floor.
- The Rescuers
It was back in 1977 when The Rescuers hit the big screen as we followed Bianca and Bernard on their quest to save Penny from the evil clutches of Madame Medusa.
46 seconds into song Someone's Waiting for You we see Bambi and his mother make a little appearance.
And there are plenty more as Belle appears in The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Jessie from Toy Story pops up in Monsters, Inc, Flick and Heimlich, from A Bug's Life, are in Toy Story while Peg from Lady and the Tramp is in 101 Dalmatians.
So next time you are watching your favourite Disney film see if you can spot some other characters making a surprise appearance - they pop up everywhere.
