I know everyone may be a little tired of vampire movies but this May will see a film inject a bit of life into this genre.
The movie that I am talking about is Byzantium as Neil Jordan returns to the director's chair - and he knows all about vampire movies having helmed Interview with the Vampire.
Byzantium sees Gemma Arterton and Saoirse Ronan team up for the very first time as they play a mother and daughter who are trying to survive while keeping what they truly are a secret.
And we have a terrific new clip for you to check out ahead of the movie's release at the end of the month:
An exciting cast list has been assembled for the film as Arterton and Ronan are joined by Sam Riley, Daniel Mays and Caleb Landry Jones.
Two mysterious women seek refuge in a run-down coastal resort. Clara meets lonely Noel, who provides shelter in his deserted guesthouse, Byzantium.
Schoolgirl Eleanor befriends Frank and tells him their lethal secret. They were born 200 Years ago and survive on human blood.
As knowledge of their secret spreads, their past catches up on them with deathly consequence.
This is one of the May movies that I am really looking forward to as it is unlike any other film that we have seen in this genre for quite some time.
Arterton and Ronan are two of the brightest acting stars and it is exciting to see them share the screen together.
Byzantium is released 31st May.
