It was back in 2004 when we last saw Renee Zellweger take on the role of Bridget Jones... twelve years on, and the actress is back in Bridget Jones's Baby.
Bridget Jones's Baby is the third film in the series and follows on from Bridget Jones's Diary and Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason.
The movie sees Sharon Maguire in the director's chair as we follow Bridget into a very new stage in her life... and it does come as a bit of a surprise.
The brand new trailer for the film has arrived and we have it for you to take a look at:
It is great to see Maguire back in the director's chair as it was back in 2001 when she brought us Bridget Jones's Diary. This is the first film for Maguire since Incendiary back in 2008.
Zellweger is not the only familiar face on the cast list Colin Firth, Jim Broadbent, Gemma Jones, Celia Imrie, and Sally Phillips are all reprising their role.
It is Patrick Dempsey who is the big new additions to the cast list as we are introduced to Jack Qwant for the first time - Bridget's new love interest.
After breaking up with Mark Darcy (Firth), Bridget Jones's (Zellweger) 'happily ever after' hasn't quite gone according to plan. Fortysomething and single again, she decides to focus on her job as top news producer and surround herself with old friends and new. For once, Bridget has everything completely under control. What could possibly go wrong?
Then her love life takes a turn and Bridget meets a dashing American named Jack (Dempsey), the suitor who is everything Mr. Darcy is not. In an unlikely twist she finds herself pregnant, but with one hitch... she can only be fifty percent sure of the identity of her baby's father.
Bridget Jones's Baby is released 16th September.
